Dot Marker FAQs

Q: Are dot markers washable?  Most dot markers are water-based and washable, but it’s always best to check the label or product description. The Artzee Dot Markers I mentioned earlier are washable and non-toxic.

Q: Can dot markers be used on regular paper?  Absolutely! Dot markers work great on regular printer paper or construction paper. However, for best results, I recommend using thicker paper or cardstock to prevent bleeding through.

Q: How do I store dot markers? Make sure to cap the markers tightly after each use to prevent them from drying out. You can store them horizontally in a plastic container or pencil case.Q: Can dot markers be used by toddlers? While dot markers are generally safe for kids, I’d recommend supervising toddlers closely when using them, as they may try to put the markers in their mouths. It’s also a good idea to start with larger, chunkier markers for little hands.

My Favorite Items I Use For Printables

  • Copy Paper & Cardstock: Depending on what project or worksheet I’m doing with my kids, I will always have copy paper and cardstock. Cardstock is more durable than copy paper.
  • Crayons: Of course for coloring pages and other worksheets, I will always have crayons.
  • Markers: Crayola’s washable markers are one of my favorites. The colors are vibrant and they easily wash off of my kids hands and my table if any accidental marks happen.
  • Colored pencils: These can be used for more detailed coloring.
  • Laminating pouches: For worksheets i want to use over and over i like to put them in laminating pouches.
  • Laminating machine: If you use the laminating pouches, you will need a laminating machine to seal the pouch.
