Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup

This homemade pumpkin spice coffee syrup is made with real pumpkin puree, maple syrup, brown sugar, and warm fall spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add the pumpkin puree, water, brown sugar, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon to a small saucepan.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Let the syrup cool before transferring it to a glass jar or airtight container.
  • Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Notes

  • Shake or stir before using since the pumpkin puree will naturally settle.
  • Use this syrup in coffee, iced coffee, homemade lattes, cold brew, or chai.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
